Just in we have this stunning 61’ slab board refin in a candy tangerine finish … loads and loads of mojo in this guitar.
Neck is dated December 1961
Slab board
Middle pickup rewound by Kent Armstrong
Original Gaurd
Original Metal sheilding behind the Gaurd
Two of the pots remain original and so does the switching!
Machine heads are original and working perfectly
Saddles all show the original Fender Pat Stamp
Pat numbers also present on headstock
Upon examination of the guitar I believe that this beauty was once a fiesta red example making it rarer again … but since then the refinish makes it rather unique to the rest.
The original hardcase unfortunately perished so it will be sold with a Fender Hardcase. Recently restrung and setup to perfection, she’s ready for the next chapter in her life. This guitar is a true players example!
